its rather late now. im getting really tired. but i still must blog bout it!!! (: im proud to say that ive been a member of mldds(haha!) and part of PEST* PETI PUTIH.
tonight was the actual and last performance/competition of the white box festival. im quite sad that we will never be in the black box at TAPAC or NAFA anymore. :'( despite missing so so many lessons, rests..cos of rehearsals. despite the naggings of my mum (bleh). despite missing half day. im glad that all these are worth it (:
this is the first time im involved in an theatre act. can you imagine...malay theatre act! when shikeen called me 1month ago. i was still wondering what's "White Box Festival". when i heard that soccer girls (winni, prong, shan, duckie) were involved, i agreed to be a crew too. :D i ended up being the sound operator. haha. COOL =p i dont deny that there were times when we felt rly tired/bored/frustrated. problems surfaced and we had to face them calmly. its was not easy co-ordinating sounds, lights and sets. soccer girls co did a great job moving sets and keeping the tempo of the play high. they rly deserve a biiiggg reward :D
of course, the casts performed really well. they put in their upmost energy and made the audience engage in their performance. *applause* (: after the whole competition, debrief...went back to dressing room, packed up and left to meet mldds seniors and supporters. haha. and they bought flowers for the CREW!! i know i'll nv be in performing arts group and i wont be receiving flowers in my entire life =p so i was rly rly rly to have received a daisy! :D haha. thanks a lot(: its rly sweet. hee.
this is an eye opener. an experience you'll get once in a lifetime. i nv regretted my decision to be part of this team. and i really want to thank everyone who made this possible. three cheers (: especially to soccer girls! winni poo, prong, shan, duckie :D
